Frequently Asked Questions
How does FeatureMap's pricing work?
FeatureMap can be used for free for an unlimited period of time, but if you want to use some advanced features such as Word/Excel exports or unlimited maps, you'll have to subscribe to a Premium account after the end of your 2-week free trial.
Premium accounts can be charged as a monthly subscription or an annual subscription. If you choose a long-term commitment, we offer two months for free on the annual subscription.
Which payment types and currency do you accept?
Prices are available in USD, EUR, and GBP. We accept Visa and MasterCard. American Express is also accepted for payments in US dollars.
How does the 2-week free trial work?
When you sign up for FeatureMap your account will be automatically enrolled in the 2-week free trial, which allows you to use all features, create and access an unlimited number of maps, and invite as many users to those maps as you'd like.
At the end of the free trial you'll be invited to choose between subscribing to a Premium account, which will let you continue using these features, or transitioning to a free account and continuing to use FeatureMap for free for as long as you like - but you'll be limited to 2 maps and won't be able to use the Premium features.
No credit card is required for the 2-week free trial.
Is real-time synchronization with JIRA included in the free trial?
Yes! You can import as many JIRA projects as you want or create new projects directly from your maps.
Can I purchase a Premium subscription for more than one user?
While each Premium subscription is individual, it can be managed by (and charged to) a specific member of your organization - we call this person the treasurer. The treasurer of your organization is generally the person who holds the credit card and is billed for the Premium users of the team.
The treasurer is billed for the total amount corresponding to all the Premium subscription she manages at the end of each billing month. Each of these subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, and the treasurer doesn't require a Premium subscription for herself. This means you don't have to be charged for 5, 10, or 20 users at once - your organization gets charged for the exact number of Premium subscriptions that you use.
What if there are 50 members in my organization? Do I have to manage 50 individual subscriptions?
You can, but you'll probably be interested to know that we offer an on-premises version of FeatureMap for organizations starting from 10 users. This lets you run FeatureMap inside your own infrastructure, giving you better administration privileges and featuring significant discounts for your whole organization, thanks to our advantageous annual pricing. Please contact us for more information.
How can I cancel a paid subscription?
You can cancel your Premium subscription by choosing the respective option in your account settings. The downgrade goes into effect when your current license expires.
If you manage several Premium subscriptions for your organization, you can cancel each subscription individually.
How secure is FeatureMap?
We run daily backups and make sure sensitive information is always encrypted.
Do you offer academic pricing?

Is there an on-premises version of FeatureMap?
